Google has come up with the fourth-generation Nexus smartphone after the hot off the fire release of iPhone5 by Apple Inc. Announced as the neoteric phone in Nexus queue of flagship Android devices, Google Nexus 4 is designed by Google and device by LG Electronics. An unlocked device, LG Nexus 4 is a HSPA+ phone and not an LTE phone. With Nexus 4, there is iron in the fire for LG to compete Samsung, maker of some earlier Nexus devices.
LG Nexus 4, akin to Nexus 1, hand-carry the new
-fangled version of Google’s Android software — in this case, 4.2 Jelly Bean — without any manufacturer or carrier skins. There are a few enrichments done to the operating system that includes the Photo Sphere plus Gesture Typing. LG Nexus 4 will arrive in the Google Play online store starting at $299 for 8GB and $349 for 16GB.
LG Nexus 4 has dimensions of 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1mm. It weighs 139 grams and provides Bluetooth 4.0. It has NFC and provides several ports like 3.5mm audio jack, Charger / USB/ Slim Port. A battery of 2100 mAh with a life time of 15.3 hours and a standby of 390 hours is also provided. The SIM Type is Micro SIM.
Several other details include:
Sim Card tray located at the left hand side of the phone. Non-availability of Menu or Back button as it appears with simply one middle button. The lack ofback button may not end up in desired result, but it is just matter of ime beore usrs ge used to it. The speakers available at the back of the device., and they look very stunning. Moreover,the output o the device is also dcent nough.
Though Nexus 4 has a paucity of high-speed 4G LTE but that expectedly would not be an obstacle for old-line Android Users who long for a speedy upgrade path for Google Nexus products.
